SmithOBrien is a Boston-based management consulting and research firm that has developed internationally-respected economic modeling-based management tools for quantifying the economic impact an organization has on the community in which it operates, including direct and ripple effects. SmithOBrien has four proposed associates for this Program.
Best Management Practices Network (BMPN) is a management practices company based in Truro Nova Scotia focusing on excellence in management strategies, including preparation of a range of sectoral and organizational balanced scorecard studies and initiatives. It would be the company's president who would be part of the EthicScan team.
EthicScan is Canada's oldest and largest, full service ethics consultancy. EthicScan's Toronto-based David Nitkin would head up the project, and serve as lead consultant.

The research and products apply an original, innovative concept in corporate social responsibility management and reporting, as defined above and in forthcoming research protocols, that is recognized by all parties - including licensees, associates and clients - as proprietary to EthicScan Canada.
