Eric B. Litwack, Ph.D. is an experienced ethicist and philosopher with a background in academia, community work, and translation. He has taught ethics and general philosophy for many years at both Queen's University in Canada, and at the International Study Centre in Sussex, England. A fluently bilingual Montrealer, he is a graduate of Concordia University (B.A.), Université de Montréal (M.A.), and Queen's University (Ph.D., philosophy).

Eric views business ethics consulting as an example of applied philosophy at its best. Having also worked in bioethics, as an instructor and clinician at the Queen's University Faculty of Medicine, he is acutely aware of the need to integrate the philosopher's analysis of value into institutional practice.

Eric is currently concentrating on business and professional ethics consulting, and also has a keen interest in philosophical counselling. He has published on both ethics and general philosophy, and recently wrote and presented a four-part radio series on business ethics for the CBC. In addition to his Canadian consulting work, he is a consultant to the British government's Department for International Development, and has worked in Ukraine on one of its key projects in the former Soviet Union.
